Submitting To Search Engines, Is it worth it?
February 9th, 2008Yesterday, a friend contacted me while I’m looking for Home contents insurance for my future home that I will be purchasing few months from now. She told me that she was hired to SEO an international website. At first I congratulated her, and I asked her what he want from me. She told me that he need my help and he will generously share his $250/month salary. (wooootttt), Seriously I’m not interested to his offer because I can earn $100 in 1 day unlike what he’s offering to me a $100 for 2 weeks work.
She’s a girl and I don’t want to offend him, so I just say yes to her but for 1 condition, I will just be her adviser. I won’t do the dirty stuff like link building and etc. She agreed to my offer and she begin asking about how to SEO a site. She told me that should she submit her site to the search engine? I said if you’re submitting to Google, Yahoo, and MSN, then go for it. Although she don’t really need it but if she feel like submitting the site then I just told her to go for it. But if you will submit to other hundreds of search engines, better save your time to a more meaningful work.
